Beyond the Safety of Intellectual Study
I think most of us, if we’re being honest, use "learning" as a way to avoid "doing." We consume vast amounts of literature on mindfulness because it is easier than facing ten minutes of silence. We want a teacher to tell us we’re doing great to keep us from seeing the messy reality of our own unorganized thoughts filled with mundane tasks and repetitive mental noise.
